When we first got our dog, the only thing I wanted was the ability to take her everywhere with me. I wanted a well behaved, calm, cooperative pup that could be by my side no matter where we went or what we were doing. What I learned is that in order to create this kind of life with her, we needed structure, trust, boundaries, expectations and connection.
